An intriguing development for me as thoughts formed words in a sudden and overwhelming phase of outpouring. Over a period of 3 months, I have written over 40 short pieces, covering various aspects, from relationships, politics, my observations, tributes and life in general.
I particularly love the sound of Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, Bengali among the many Indian languages that I have been fortunate to hear. I like the manner in which certain words in these, can truly capture the vast gamut of human emotions. Unfortunately, a lack of early interest in Hindi that was taught not for expression, but for grammar, has forced me today to rely extensively on external resources for meaning, usage, spellings and context when penning my thoughts. Presented here are some samples. Click on the image to view full screen.
