My friend, traveler, explorer, fellow author and wanderer, Amardeep Singh has authored two brilliant books in service of humanity for perpetuity –Lost Heritage: The Sikh Legacy in Pakistan and The Quest Continues: Lost Heritage The Sikh legacy in Pakistan. These photo document the legacy of the Sikh historical sights, constructions and structures that are now in a state of neglect and ruins across the border in Pakistan. His second book cover spoke to me, in a manner that was unexpected and quite heart wrenching. I wrote this piece quite spontaneously and I suspect some unknown higher intervention in the construction of these verses for which I feel blessed and eternally grateful.
